Good afternoon Sumter PREP Academy Parents and Guardians,

We would like to remind our families of the importance of daily school attendance. Today, we experienced a higher number of student absences, and we want to ensure all absences are properly documented.

✅ If your student was absent today, please remember to send a written excuse note within three (3) days of the absence.

📄 A note may be sent with your student, submitted via email, through ParentSquare, or entered in Skyward.
✅ Parents/guardians may submit up to nine (9) excuse notes per semester to excuse their student’s absences.
✅ Notes should include the student’s full name, date(s) of absence, reason for the absence, and parent/guardian signature.

💚 Regular attendance is essential to student success. When students are present, they are better able to stay on track academically, build strong relationships, and remain engaged in their learning.

💚Students with strong attendance are more likely to remain engaged, develop positive school habits, and experience long‑term academic success across grade levels. 

💚We want to share our attendance rate data with you and remind our families of the importance of daily school attendance.
